Thornbury-Clarksburg Club Membership
New members of a Rotary Club must be proposed for membership by an active member of the club. Although we, as T-C Rotarians are always on the lookout for dynamic individuals, male and female, who could add to the strength of our Rotary Club, we often don't know of people in our community who might be interested in becoming a Rotarian.
Briefly, candidates qualified for membership in Rotary are adults of good character and business, professional or community reputation who fit ONE of the following criteria:
- hold or have held an executive position with discretionary authority in any worthy and recognized business or profession
- serve as a community leader
- have participated in one of the Rotary Foundation programs -- Group Study Exchange, Youth Exchange, Ambassadorial Scholarship, etc.
